Natural Skin Regeneration and Scar Repair Therapy

Manufacturer: Dr. Anikó Kiss
Description

What is it?

The DermaRoller is only available from trained medical practitioners. The Derma Roller Therapy is a medical roller that is manufactured with many small high quality micro-surgical precision needles mounted around the rolling device. These tiny needles are rolled over the area to be treated and will pierce the skin to a depth of 1.5mm.

What is it used for?

Derma Roller Therapy can significantly improve the appearance of:

  • Acne Scars
  • Aged and sun damaged skin
  • Facial and décolletage lines and winkles
  • Stretch Marks

How does it work?

The procedure is pain free as we anaesthetise the skin with anaesthetic cream prior to commencing. It works by producing thousands of microscopic needle columns in the dermis of the skin. The tiny needles mounted in the roller cause an initial trauma and wound healing response within the dermis and this in turn encourages new collagen formation to the areas treated. The production of collagen occurs for up to 6 weeks after the treatment so visible signs of improvement will not be immediate, the process will however continue over the following months providing a gradual and long lasting enhancement. The treatment can be repeated if necessary, however you will most definitely notice a considerable improvement with one treatment. The number of sessions needed will depend on the severity of the problem you are looking to address.

Apart from the collagen that is crucial in this, the derma roller also acts as a catalyst to any skin cream that you are using, since it will be absorbed in a much deeper level, its results will be largely increased with this method.

Other Advantages of using this treatment:

  • Increased serum absorption
  • Does not damage the skin in a permanent way
  • Virtually pain free
  • Approved for home usage
  • No known negative side effects
  • Very easy to use
  • Cheap compared to other treatments that offer less results

Are there any side affects?

Immediately after the procedure the skin closes up and all you will experience is redness resembling mild to moderate sunburn. This will normally subside the same day with only a little residual redness the following day. This treatment is an excellent alternative for those that do not want to do down the laser route.
